KINGVELO Return and Exchange Policy

This policy governs the return, exchange and refund procedures for all orders placed through KINGVELO, in accordance with applicable international e-commerce laws and regulations.
All returns must be pre-approved by KINGVELO customer service prior to return shipment of the item.

1. Return Window

We accept returns or exchanges for most items within the following timeframes:

2. Conditions of Eligibility for Return

To be accepted, all returned items must meet the following criteria:

  • Item Condition: Item must be in new and unused condition , uninstalled , and have no signs of damage, wear, or modification. Any return received in used or damaged condition (due to customer handling) will be subject to a higher Restocking Fee, up to 50%.
  • Packaging: Items must be returned in the original packaging (box, plastic, tags ) and include all accessories, manuals, and warranty documents.
  • Serial Number (Electronics): In accordance with our Shipping Policy, for all electronics, the returned serial number MUST match the serial number recorded by KINGVELO at the time of shipment.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made products are final sale and cannot be returned. Discounted or clearance items are final sale but may be returned if verified to be defective upon receipt.


3. Return Procedures and Fees

A. Return Authorization
1. Contact Customer Service: Customers must contact KINGVELO via email at cs@kingvelo.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
2. Verification: Please include the order number, details of the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Requests without a previously issued RMA number will not be processed.

B. Responsibility for Return Shipping Costs
The cost of returning goods to Indonesia is entirely the customer's responsibility, unless the return is due to a shipping error on the part of KINGVELO (for example, incorrect or defective goods that have been verified).

European Union & EFTA (Right of Withdrawal) For customers in the EU and EFTA, we comply with Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights. We confirm that the original standard shipping cost is refundable under the Right of Withdrawal. However, consistent with EU regulations, the direct cost of returning the goods (return shipping costs) remains the responsibility of the consumer.

  • Logistics: Customers are responsible for selecting a courier that provides tracking and insurance services to ensure the goods arrive back in Indonesia.
  • Logistics Risk: KINGVELO is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return process.

C. Restocking Fee
15% Restocking Fee will be deducted from the refund amount for all General Returns (Change of Mind). This fee covers the costs of inspection, processing, repackaging, and any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred by KINGVELO.

  • Exception: The Restocking Fee will NOT be applied if the return is due to a verified KINGVELO error (defective, damaged, or wrong item).
  • Higher Fee: If the item is returned in a visibly used, damaged, or incomplete condition, a higher fee (up to 50%) will be assessed at KINGVELO's discretion.

4. Refunds and Exchanges

After the goods are received and successfully inspected by the KINGVELO inspection team in Indonesia:

- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after the inspection is completed.

- Original Shipping Costs

Refunds for the original shipping cost paid at checkout are handled as follows:

      - Refund Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout, less any applicable Restocking Fees.

      - Exchange: If the exchange is approved, we will send a replacement item after the original returned item is received and inspected.


      5. International Legal & Regulatory Compliance
       
      This policy is designed to comply with relevant laws in our major markets:

      A. Indonesia (Main Reference Law) As an entity established in Indonesia, KINGVELO is subject to Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK).
       
      B. European Union & EFTA (Right of Withdrawal) For customers in the EU and EFTA, we comply with Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights. We confirm that the original standard shipping cost is refundable under the Right of Withdrawal.

      C. United States (US) and Canada Our 30-day policy provides strong protection and confidence for customers in these regions, exceeding standard industry practice.
